As a special bonus project for patrons at Aficionado tier, I'm pleased to introduce this peplum expansion for the Café Culture dress.
Taking its inspiration from mid-late 1940s styling, the Café Culture peplum expansion features cutaway front and either V-shaped (view 1) or straight (view 2) hemline in back and is faced with lining fabric.
The circular cut gives a smooth line at the waist, and the exaggerated curve creates a gracefully rippling drape.
The peplum expansion can be used in a variety of ways: Sew into the waistline seam of your dress; make a detachable peplum with the included belt; or make a charming peplum blouse.
