What do subscribers receive?
I offer three different subscription levels, so you can customise the experience at the tier that works for you.
I enjoy recreating the fashions of the past, and have developed a line of vintage style sewing patterns. My designs are inspired by and/or based on original vintage patterns from the 1940s-50s, all updated, redrafted and graded to a full size range, with four separate A-H cup size options.
Patrons at Enthusiast tier and above get exclusive access to the monthly pattern releases, now in a new expanded size range of 4-20 US / 8-24 UK (patterns released from January 2023 onwards; some 2022 patterns have a reduced size range).
In addition, I share 6-8 bonus projects per year with Aficionado patrons. Bonus projects include anything from pattern expansions to appliqué templates, accessories and millinery projects (no special equipment required).
I find a wealth of inspiration for my fashion and prints from browsing vintage magazines and catalogues. All patrons can now enjoy my collection of hundreds of vintage publications, scanned in high resolution and shared as downloadable PDFs. My collection covers the early 1900s to the 1950s, with magazines, pattern books and catalogues. Non-sewists can join at the Library Lover tier for access to a wealth of inspiration and insights including fashion & beauty, knitting patterns, recipes, and social history illustrating everyday life in eras past. 3-4 magazines are added each month, so the library keeps growing!

I'm delighted to introduce the Café Culture Dress, an elegant day or cocktail dress with mid-late 1940s styling. This is a beginner-friendly pattern, with a relaxed fit and no sleeves to set in.
The Sophisticate tea dress features ruched shoulder yokes which meet at a V-neckline above a sweetheart shaped lower bodice. The skirt side front panels are gathered into hip yokes and fall in soft folds, echoing the ruching in the bodice.
As a special bonus for patrons at Aficionado tier, I'm pleased to introduce the Sailor Collar expansion, compatible with both the Rendezvous jacket and Démoiselle dress (taking the number of possible combinations up to 40!)
Love is in the air! My second Valentine's themed release is a beret inspired by the imagery of vintage Valentine’s cards: A bluebird delivers a love letter to a Valentine mailbox, with the scene surrounded by a wreath of spring blossoms.
The Rendezvous Jacket is a V-necked, zip-front hooded jacket inspired by an original vintage example from the late 30s.
With Valentine's Day approaching, I thought I'd share some Valentine-themed projects! The first is this candy heart themed beret, which is available as a free download.
The Démoiselle dress, based on Hollywood Patterns 1854 from c1939, is a versatile zipper front house dress or afternoon frock.

Merry Kitschmas! For my very first Cricut project I created this cute reindeer appliqué beret, inspired by a vintage felt Christmas tree skirt.
The Etoile skirt is a full skirt constructed in 16 gores, with zigzag seaming creating an eight-pointed star. Perfect for the festive season or cocktails!
The only thing which can make a cape better is a hood! This hood expansion for the Zephyr cape introduces a further two variations to the pattern.
Who doesn’t love a cape? Always chic, capes can be dressed up or down, and instantly elevate any outfit. Named after the Greek god of the west wind, the Zephyr Cape can be made for any season. Make it in terrycloth for a chic vintage style beach cape, or in tweeds and velvets as outerwear for the cooler months.
The Home Front Skirt is a pattern expansion for the Home Front Shirtwaist bodice. The six gores are cut on the same lines as the Daytripper dress skirt, but with a touch less flare at the hem for a ration book friendly slim A-line silhouette.
Introducing the Home Front Shirtwaist, an updated and expanded version of a single-size pattern I previously released in 2022. The shirtwaist style is a versatile staple, suitable for all seasons - make it in lightweight cottons and rayons for spring and summer; or in needlecord or wool flannel for autumn/winter wear.
I'm very pleased to introduce the Bletchley blouse - named in honour of Bletchley Park in Buckinhamshire, home of top secret codebreaking operations during World War Two.
A quick and easy make, the Meadowdays skirt will make a great addition to your wardrobe at any time of year, just as chic in autumnal plaids or formal taffeta as light summer cottons.
With sweetheart halterneck and wide, flared culotte shorts, the Lido Playsuit is perfect for lounging at the lido or taking seaside strolls as either a one-piece or separates.
The Mimosa dress is a fun, flirty mid-50s style sundress, with a wide, V-shaped neckline perfect for showcasing a novelty necklace. The bodice is cut on the bias, offering an opportunity to play with directional prints.
I'm delighted to introduce the Serendipity Dress, a 1940s style tea dress, evening dress or gown. Gathered centre panels in contrast fabric on the bodice and skirt give the Serendipity dress its visual interest and make this pattern perfect for using offcuts of precious vintage yardage.

I’m very pleased to share my latest circle skirt appliqué templates, as a special bonus just for Appliqué Aficionado patrons. Each detailed snow globe has a different seasonal scene, from ice skaters to deer to a snowy village.
The 12 pin-ups of Christmas circle skirt was inspired by a Michael Simon sweater. I extrapolated the concept into a circle skirt featuring Holly, Snowflake, Elf, Candy Cane and Champagne pin-ups - and more! The instruction booklet includes detail photographs of each lady, plus supply lists of all the embellishments I used for my skirt.
The Promenade Dress is a mid-1940s style raglan sleeve day dress with sweetheart neckline and shaped midriff.
