I created a series of pinups for my Christmas circle skirt inspired by a vintage Michael Simon sweater, and it proved so popular that I decided to reimagine them for Valentine's as a bonus Patreon project for February. You get a full "baker's dozen" (13) templates to choose from - my Christmas skirt features 12 ladies arranged around the hem.
I recommend making the appliqué in felt or other non-fraying fabric, and use embroidery or special fabric pen/paint for the finer details of the faces and shoes. Feel free to make these ladies your own - you can easily mix & match hairstyles, headdresses, and outfits, and add embellishments such as ribbon, trim, embroidery, beading, sequins and silk flowers to customise your project.
