The only thing which can make a cape better is a hood! This hood expansion for the Zephyr cape introduces a further two variations to the pattern.

The hood is cut on the bias so it drapes over the shoulders. The front edge is designed to be turned back, which is a great way to show off a fun lining (consider using a lining to match your dress, for a chic coordinated outfit!) For unlined versions, the front edge of the hood is finished with bias binding.

Made as a beach cape it’s unlined, while the tailored winter version has a free-hanging lining.
